Jeffrey has had a career in the beauty industry for over 50 years. Raised in a small rural town in Ohio, Jeffrey came to Pittsburgh in the 1970's to pursue cosmetology. After attending Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, he worked for many years with Leslie Brynner of Leslie & Co. before embarking on his own. In 2002, after enjoying much success in Shadyside, Jeffrey moved his salon to Lawrenceville in a fortuitous attempt to help revitalize the neighborhood. A decade later, Jeffrey's latest venture has brought the salon to Highland Park. Although Jeffrey caters to a devoted following, he also welcomes new clients.
In 2012 Jeffrey began designing jewelry. Each piece is unique and created with variety of materials including iced metals, natural stones and glass. His jewelry is available for sale at the salon and has been featured in local magazines and fashion shows. Jeffrey's other interests include traveling, gardening, and interior design.
"Jeffrey helped set the scene of Lawrenceville’s renaissance, opening his stylish salon as a true urban pioneer in 2002. Having helped kickstart what is now one of the trendiest neighborhoods in the region, Jeffrey is ready to work his magic again in another up-and-coming city neighborhood: Highland Park."
